Music Therapy Internship

Application Process

If you are interested in applying for the internship, submit the following information:

(All items must be sent at the same time in one envelope in order to be considered).

  • Cover letter stating intent and date available to begin internship
  • Resume--to include addresses, education, clinical practicum experience
  • Two letters of reference--the Director of Music Therapy at your school and another faculty or clinical supervisor
  • Copy of transcripts from all colleges attended.

Submit application requirements no later than six before your desired starting date. Internships preferably begin the first week of January or September. E-mail therapist at Sheri.Smith@med.va.gov or write to:
